At ICON design and Display we are always looking for ways to incorporate recycled, reclaimed or sustainable materials into our designs. We feel that it is our responsibility to explore these options in order to offer our clients solutions that will have a reduced impact on the environment.
One of the ways we are putting this initiative into practice is by offering our line of ‘2nd Generation’ displays - a stock display line made entirely from reclaimed and recycled materials. Our sources seek out wood from all over the country and literally rescue it from being dumped in landfills or burned. The cost is more than that of new growth wood, but using this material saves trees and lowers carbon output. We think that the cost difference is negligible when you consider the environmental benefit and proactive initiatives your consumers will recognize and want to identify with. Each display is branded with the 2nd Generation logo, helping communicate to consumers that you are actively participating in the reduction of waste and doing your best to reduce your brand’s carbon footprint.
